These BLAST searches all used the STAT5B protein as the query. They were done across different species or sets of species. We can see which domains are conserved in each search. Each BLAST search also shows the similarity percentage (percentage identity) between the query sequence and the hit protein. We can also see the E-value, which tells us if the match between two proteins is statistically significant. The closer the E-value is to 0, the more significant the similarity.

The screenshots on the right of each search show the graphic summary of the search. These show the areas of the amino acid sequence where there is an overlap. Red bars indicate a significant overlap whilst purple bars indicate a lower overlap.
